SERVICES


A meal being delivered

Caregivers become friends 

Transportation                                       Friends and neighbors driving people to medical appointments or other appointments.  Minimum
notice of two business days for current careceivers
is required.

Friendly Visiting                                  Home visits for those needing friendship and social contacts.

Respite Care                                    Temporary relief for primary caregivers of those who are chronically ill or disabled.
                  
Lifeline Installation  
Volunteers install and service Lifeline system units for those possibly needing immediate medical assistance.

Cancer Support
A supportive meeting where cancer patients, survivors and family members can receive support, resources and encouragement.

Home Maintenance                      Assistance with minor repairs, light housekeeping, meal preparation, yard work, etc.

Telephone Reassurance                  Provides a friendly phone call to individuals needing more social interaction and encouragement.

Rural Meal Delivery                        Residents needing meal delivery that are living outside the city limits of Princeton can arrange meals through the local dining site at 763-389-4602 to receive hot or frozen meals.  RRIC volunteers pick up the meals and deliver them to the individuals. 

Thrift Store                                
Provides an opportunity to purchase quality used items at very affordable prices. Also provides an opportunity to gain employment skills or just to have fun with friends by volunteering.
